This skirt was made using a polyester velvet curatin that I found for 99 cents. Can’t beat that! I also used a salvaged vintage zipper and a bead I found in my jewelry making supplies.

I drafted the skirt pattern using various pattern pieces I already had. Really all you need is a pencil skirt pattern witha good waistband and I added a zipper all the way down the front and fancied up the zipper pull with a bead.
