veiled hat for sewing contest project

this hat I need for burdastyle sewing vintage modern contest, I wanned to buy it but was too expensive so I bought a simple ordinary hat from internet and I transform it in my veiled hat :-) I cut it on back side and reshaped cause was too big for my head. I used some hard paper from gift bags to shape it as a joben. After I sew a matching hat of black velvet and covered the hat. the white ribbon its made in white shifon. The veil I bought from internet, its very easy to make as I saw. So now I have my own veiled hat that I simply love!
