I may start by saying i did not make the felt myself will try that another time. I found the flowers on sale in a fabric store so bought two packs. I had the crafting felt sheets in greys and black and white so i used them as a backing for the flower appliques. I just laid out the flowers by hand and traced a rough shape around them onto the backing felt and cut it out . then i used fabric glue to stick them down but be warned it wasn’t the best idea as it hardned too well. I had great trouble getting my needle through the flowers afterwards as the glue had dried so hard. I used various beads and sequens sewn on by hand and ribbon as a necklace. once i has sewn on all the bits i stick a backing piece to the back to hide all the stitches.
Felt and ribbon, beads and sequens.
