I made this dress based on a Vanessa Bruno Ath that was “on sale” on net-a-porter for $297.50 (see here: http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/185082) . Unfortunately I can’t provide a pattern, at least not yet. But on the bright side, this is the first dress I made simply drafting on a dress form! I had some troubles getting the waist at just the right level, raising it a few times, but I’m happy with the result! And for a low low price of the fabric lying in my closet! The bottom has hem pleats, and the bodice is “stitch-embroidered” with the sewing machine, with a side zip, and basic neckline and sleeves. You can see more about the dress, my DIY projects, etc. on my blog at http://tartarsandteacups.wordpress.com/

Yeah, the floral panels go really well with the main fabric. You did a great job! Love your yellow shoes too!

Thank you so so much! I really appreciate that! I was originally using a vibrant green for the side panels, but then found this floral and thought it went so well! Thanks again! :)
