Description

Halloween is my favorite holiday, the one day we get to be anything we want to be. One year I wanted to be EVIL so I whipped up this Vampiress costume made from Simplicity costumes pattern #9313. I must have been out of my mind when I chose the length on this one… oh well…. I still rocked it!

Material Notes

Best suited for stretch velvets, cotton Velour… but I used costuming satin and cut on the bias. Cape is fully lined and reversible. Buckram, felt, fusing web, ribbon, milliners wire, feather boning, bias tape, seam sealant (optional), zipper, hook and eye, seam binding.

It looks great! I did the cat costume from this pattern one year, and was really surprised with how short it was! Really like the shimmer you get from the satin.
