Las Vegas, Nevad...
I always wanted to try my luck with anything lace, and as this season came I realized that it is just about time! Now… it was supposed to be a dress! About why it became a skirt and other sewing adventures read on my blog
Pattern: Burda Style 3477, I traced the whole dress but used only skirt part pattern from the waistline (it worked just fine and it is not the first time I used this dress pattern for a skirt part)
Fabric: guipure lace, pink stretch satin, elasticated band
I love the purple with sprinkles of white, and pink satin lining give a bit of a soft light, since guipure lace itself is see through.
About that satin lining: ladies, I have one yard of it left. It is a nice quality polyester satin, baby pink with tiny polka dots. I don’t mean to advertise here or anything else, just trying to off-load my fabric stashes. Check it out on etsy here
