I made this dress for Valentines Day.
It’s By Hand London’s Georgia dress pattern.
From the moment I saw this pattern I knew it was a dress I HAD to have. I haven’t had much success with fitted skirts/dresses in the past (RTW or handmade) so I was very surprised when this dress came together so well, with only a couple of minor adjustments – I was expecting a lot of adjustments around the hips and bum (my usual problem areas) but the skirt fit very well. I am very happy with it!!!!
I’ve got more photos and details on my blog, come take a look.
Fabric: 2m cotton (no stretch)
Adjustments: swayback and small bust adjustment
Dress up outerwear with deep shawl collars and sew up a lovely fitted dress with a flounced hemline.
