Bodice made from V8280 and self drafted circular skirt.
I made this dress for Valentine’s Day; we went to the Camelot Lounge in Marrickville. If in Sydney, try to get along to this little quirky venue. I’m almost embarrassed to say who we went to see, Kamahl!!
For those who don’t know Kamahl, he is one of those enduring characters who have been around since the sixties.
So glad we went along, very intimate crowd and Kamahl being as smarmy as they come, walk around the crowd and gave every girl a rose. I did have a photo taken with him and the rose but the photo was too dark to see:(

Very beautiful dress! That’s so funny because I’m in Perth and bought the exact same fabric for a dress to make for Valentine’s day too! Small world!
