Finally I made the vintage dress from the V&A, discussed on the forum here.
It’s amazing! I was waiting for a unique fabric, but then I decided to make it in grey cotton, because its cheap, not too much of a prolem if I messed it up, and so I could accessorise it with any colour I wanted. The skirt is HUUUGE! Its so wide, which makes it perfect for twirling, and the pockets are great too. I didn’t put the bow on the back because I didn’t really fancy it, but the band is a bit out of place on the back as you can see, so I’m thinking I might go back and put it on.ETA: Yes, I went back and added the bow. It looks much better.
So I can wear my big yellow sunglasses and yellow belt all summer long!
Now I want to see your version…
