I put an * asterisk on Vintage because this dress was made from a vintage men’s dress shirt. The V neckline was created by leaving open the first few buttons and pleating the neckline. Elastic gathering was done at the empire waistline to give the dress some more shape and the button panel was sewn shut to avoid any “wardrobe malfunctions.” Criss-cross elastic straps were also added for a comfy bit of support.
