I was in need of a long sleeve garment for winter time and thought this 1940’s Simplicity 2270 pattern had my name written all over it… I’m into peplum lately and I love the bow at the back. For the fabric I used lightweight Italian wool. I needed to make some alterations as a 1940’s size 14 doesn’t seem to be anywhere near a modern day one… I also used small shoulder pads to give the shoulders some more shape. Santa, I’m ready!!
