Description

This is my most recent project: adding more patches to my 17-year-old son’s work jeans. He wears them for baling, working on cars, whenever he needs his grubby clothes. This pair has at least 12 patches. I even reinforced the knees and front thighs. He wears them hard. I threatened to throw them away, but he reminded me that new or old, his jeans would be like this. I’ll just keep patching them…

Material Notes

torn jeans, old denim for patching.

Would you mind doing a tutorial on mending? I could use such skill.

Yes. I can do that. My mom was very pro-patching, especially on my brothers’ jeans. She taught me all I know. :)
