      Burda 3406- an outdated pattern that needed more than a few tweaks and more to come in the next pair.

      victors, I have that exact same vintage elephant pattern in your profile pic! Haha. My mom made those stuffed string elephants to hang in my nursery but I remember playing with them when I was little. Perhaps the beginning of my obsession with elephants, who knows.

      My mum made them as well. I think she used to sell them at the markets. Made of felt they were.

    These look GREAT!!! I’ve been toying with the idea of making jeans but I’m just not confident I could pull it off…. you’ve done a wonderful job!!!

      Thank you. The main hassle I find is the fly area- making sure it all matches up and sits neat. Other than that it’s just cut and sew.
