I made these slippers for my brother for christmas. I had to make the pattern larger for his feet. I added a couple layers of batting in between, contrasting piping, and a soft fluffy lining on the inside of the slipper. The design on the top is supposed to be an urban grid, but it looks a little like tire tracks. Oh- and I added a piece of vinyl- I like to call it the panda paw- so that they don’t slide on the wood floor.
felt, felt, and more felt.
my brother.

Love these slippers – unique and whimsical! I love anything in felt but these are great ‘cause they’re different and the tire tracks are terrific.

These look great! For the Yule-tide season we planned on making felt slippers that Martha Stewart had a pattern for last issue. These are equally darling and much more practical. How inspiring! Rock on!

How cute! I really like the “tire tracks”, it adds a bit of whimsy! Great gift and I’m sure your brother will find them pleasing.
