I had a few issues with this dress which i have now sorted out- the big cap sleeve i had before has been reduced and now sits much better and I have added an obi belt in grey silk/rayon mix. Overall i am much happier with this final result :)
I love this dress! I chose to oversew the ruffle in black, the sleeves and skirt are simply hemmed and the neck is finished in bias binding.
Hmmm, feels like a dress for the spring racing carnival ;)
Soft Chinese cotton with 4% spandex, bias binding.

oh I like the black stitching, really makes the ruffle stand out. Can’t wait to see the silk version :)
