Description

I only had a metre of black stretch sateen and wanted to make this lovely 50’s style dress. So i used a pair of black jeggings that I had never worn for the side and back panels. As a final trim I used a piece of black leatherette I had in my trim box.I left out the wings as I didn’t have enough material and I felt it would look too bulky.
I’m very happy with the way this dress turned out and its an easy one to dress up or down.

Material Notes

cotton stretch sateen
twill denim
leatherette

Looking good! Sometimes a metre is a lot. Sometimes, not a lot!
