Found a second-hand mohair knit dress M size: I liked the colour and the bottom. I took it in at the sides to fit me, and as the upper part was a kind of bra too large, I simply cut it away (having short legs has some advantages, after all) adding a little (hmm, not so little) elasticated hem, then adding straps. I knew I would never wear it alone, so I upcycled a zipped polo-neck cardigan (become too short for its style). Ripped off the zipper, the collar…and as it is a different kind of blue, I added two little ruffles with the scraps from the dress. The asymmetrical idea is simply due to lack of material: I’d have preferred to rim the opening all around, but it is not so bad, after all. Excuse me but I have problems uploading my pics. I will try to upload more later.
I think I will wear it on Tuesday evening, at a Chopin piano concert…
