I bought a long blue skirt that was too big for me a while ago because I loved the pretty pattern on the fabric. I’ve turned it into a sun dress after a couple of hours simply by shirring/smocking the top part of the skirt, adding some elastic band and taking out some excess off the width. Voila — it was perfect for the lovely weather we’ve had in the UK this April!
