mens large plaid polo shirt that needed an upgrade! i love the fabric, thought it would be so cute for the spring and summer. i just started cutting and sewing. the rolled hem was a pain because the shirt is constructed from little plaid squares of fabric serged together like a quilt. so it didn’t always go through my rolled hem foot with ease, but i figured it out, with a few curse words!! i added a great macrame doily i recently thrifted, macrame lace from the fabric store, ric rac in baby blue, and trim along buttonhole edge with pink hearts and flowers and moss green leaves.
