Burda Style For people who sew
Description
i’m having so much fun bringing new life to things with dye. This vintage slip was a very pale sea foam green,which normally i love but this was downright frumpy! I made a light dye of blue and purple for this lavender color, added applique from a vintage cotton linen, and added light shirring to the waist.
I love this slip, which now is a dress.

appliques are easy peasy way to dress up an outfit..even make it more RTW. Vogue Fabrics has them by the hundreds on sale now for $2. I should really stock up, there’s so beautiful.
