Another forgotten project from early this year, made for my friends’ youngest daughter. I laundered and tore apart a thrifted H&M dress, then added white piping for contrast & cuteness. I know it sounds strange to upcycle for a friends’ child, but she digs my recycling sensibilities.
Used the same OOP Favorite Things pattern as the Silver Polka-dot Jumper, though a smaller size.

I love it – and the fact you up cycled too – just lovely! The piping – love it and your pattern matching on the front! It has been noticed and enjoyed immensely. (I’m a sucker for pattern matching – maybe I just need to go out more – but I know what I like and this I like my friend!) xxxxx

Very sweet and yes I agree with zsyzu, the piping and buttons look great and give the jumper a fine finish.

Thank you! I was hoping it took a little of the thrift out of it ;)

I love the piping and the little buttons. That was nice of you to do that for your friend’s daughter. Nice job!
