Description

We were given this little suit by one of my husband’s brothers and though it didn’t fit Daughter in its former state, it was easy to imagine a way to adjust it.

I’ve done a tutorial on my blog, if anyone is interested: http://frankiesoup.wordpress.com/2012/06/22/another-body-suit-rework/

Check out my popover with a twist in my studio. For pants too short, add a ruffle to the bottom and fabric belt. They can be full length, shorts or caprice. Or turn pants into a skirt by opening the crotch. I have one posted with an embroidered bumblebee. You could also cut up the clothes and make a quilt. I made a t shirt for my daughter. What a great print…love it! I did this with my daughters cloths too. She’s now 21.

Do you have any more ideas for ways to keep small clothes going a little longer? I have so many things that no one wants and that I just can’t bear to throw out quite yet! :)
