Ah, up-cycled garments, zombies of the wardrobe but, ideally, less-terrifying.
This is all that remains of a well-worn, well-loved shop-bought dress. I don’t have a pic of the original dress but it was a pretty basic knee-length, elasticated waist number. Somewhere along the line it shrunk in the wash so I took the elastic off, put some darts in the back to give it more shape, added the black detail down the front and now I have a new top.
