Unfinished dress… I thought i did quite a neat job on this without my serger (this was one of my first 10 creation, but never photographed it since its unfinished).
But I dont like how it looks :( perhaps my color choice and that neckline just doesnt do it for me. Any suggestions to what to do with it?

i think i agree with teresaschwarz: the top is too boxy. you have a bottom part with wonderful details there but the upper part looks a bit conventional and rather serious… maybe you should try to make it a bit more lively and fun-looking? i love the colours! they look great on you, you should really use the fabric! looking forward to see your results! good luck!

This is wicked! Put a wide hem on it with the white material on the sides, it would be SUPERcute.

I like the color and the bottom, the curved lines are very feminine. I think the top is too boxy. Maybe change the neckline to a curve and redo the sleeves, maybe a softer gather in the contrast or the peach with the contrast as trim. Good Luck!

this is cute! I kinda like the high waistline, how about transforming it to a tube dress or with spaghetti straps?

This top reminds me of Kasia. Redo it as a skirt, using the bottom part as the upper skirt part, and the upper shirt part for the waistband and a bottom skirt panel?
