I bought this pattern at Sydney’s bi-annual Love Vintage fabric and fashion fair. It was a little more pricey than I planned to pay for a single pattern, but that neckline was too nice to pass up, and the tied front is lovely, too. I found the fabric at a market for $2 about a year ago, and lad been waiting for the right vintagey top to make with it. The fabric is very soft so it drapes beautifully as well.
The blouse was very easy to make – it’s one large piece, one facing, and four pieces for the ties. No shoulder seams, no sleeves to set, and the hem is just finished with bias binding. One of the simplest tops I’ve ever made!
