Hey, can anyone tell me how much fabric is needed to construct the final pattern? That would be wonderful! Sorry if it’s posted somewhere and I missed it, but I can’t find it anywhere!

YAY for the lovely dress, just in time for spring!

I love a good, wrap dress and I might need to drag out some of the ones I’ve made over the years. Or buy some of the gorgeous remnants at Vogue Fabrics now.

I was just thinking the Desira pattern would look great as a dress! Beautiful – I think I will try it myself with the fabric I was thinking of now…

I really like this dress. It’s a great idea to show beginners how to change a pattern in this simple way. This is also a perfect example of why tatoos are a very bad idea. Yikes, that looks awful.

Not everyone is anti-tattoo. I think it looks great. She has beautiful artwork on her arm.

This looks great. And good for us nursing ladies who want to wear a dress occasionally. Why didn’t I think of it before!

Help me sewing girls… can I do this in a non-stretch with this pattern? Or is that crazy? I am thinking of a very thin, lightweight cotton. Would that work?

It´s possible to make a wrap dress out of non-stretch fabric, but I´m not sure if you can make it with this pattern….

You can use a non-stretch fabric with the Desira and the Jennifer, so I think you should be able to with this, as long as you measure carefully.

LOOOVE IT!!! I especialy like that it has some sleeves for those of us a little older, it can be hard to find cute dresses w/sleeves. I’m downloading it right now!!! I’d love a version with butterfly sleeves, I don’t know how to do that, anybody?

Do I have to own the Desira and Jennifer patterns already? Or are they included in this download?

Ohh I’m really liking the variations you are offering on existing patterns at the moment, keep up the good work team. It’s nice to see how to draft a pattern into a new one, great photos and it’s a good experience and great learning for us all!

SO cute! Now… can we have a How To on how to petite-ify Desira for shorter torsos? My Desira wraps a whole inch and a half below my natural waist!
