I made this costume for my boyfriend for Halloween. It is the “Guadalajara” poncho is from Ugly Betty season 1 episode 1. I copied the design I saw from the TV, I did not use a pattern used for this.
Fleece, felt, embroidery, thread, wonderweb. For the writing, I found a font on Microsoft word increased the size, printed “Guadalajara”, cut it out and used it as a template on the felt. When I had all the felt letters cut out I stuck it to the poncho with wonderweb.
My boyfriend Barry was my doll for the night!!
