I’ve wanted a wool biker for some time now, but bacuse they often are expencive I decided to make one of my own. It was a lot of work, but the result is quite good. Not sure how I feel about the bomper effekt yet dough. The jacket is actualle sewed after a size EUR 34 /UK 6, but some how it ended up oversized(?). I had to take inn the arms at the shoulder many cm’s before it fitted. But still I like it, it’s almos a bit Acne;) I also dropped some of the details to get a more minimalistic look:)

Hi Lady, I finally have some time to sit down and make this one also. I’d like to ask a few questions if you don’t mind.. Did you line the jacket or it’s not required? Did you use seam-allowance when drawing up the pattern?
If you could just drop me a few lines I’d really appreciate it! :)

Well, most of the models were drawn for tall women I guess. I did a coat a few weeks ago I think you saw that cocoon one, anyway I down-sized the pattern from 38 to 36 and ended up having an oversized one too. I’m fairly short but not that skinny still I find most of the patterns way too big. Anyway great job on your coat ;)

Probobly:) I’ll keep that in mind. I’ve started on a coocon-coat too, but I can’t decide if I want to use the fabric i picked out, so i put it on pause for a bit:) Thank you very much:)

Thank you:) I know. The model for the jacket looks stick thin, and yet mine got so big. And after the measurments I should have picked a size up(?):P
