Two Tone Remake - LuLu Forever

Added Mar 24, 2010

Cumming, Georgia...

He broke your heart took the cat and you’re still waiting to exhale. Somethings, like red lipstick are forever sugar, don’t burn his clothes Up-Cycle!
This is a revamp of the two tone apron pattern featured for the remake contest. Easily put together from a mans dress shirt and some old jeans. I used an XL sized shirt as I like to gather at the top for flare but you could easily keep it straight and simple to have a “barista” styled flat apron. The shirt and collar deconstructed make for the perfect apron and border using the two tone elements. Embellishments could also include – Bacon n Egg felted appliques, Vintage Crochet doilies, Vintage buttons, lace edging, poms, polka dots, coffee ring.

Material Notes

1- Mans Dress Shirt Long Sleeve
1- Pair of Jeans
1- Sewing thread of contrasting or impact color

Garment Type
Corduroy, Cotton, Blends, Denim, Polyester, Rayon

I am so thrilled you think so. Thank you so much for the wonderful sentiment. I am working hard to put a tutorial together for everyone to enjoy as well. Its just a tough spec to write out, because I am trying to make it super easy. :)

That is one of the most original ideas for an apron I have ever seen! I absolutely love this and think it is sublime!
