Description

Another recycled t-shirt. I combined an old t-shirt with a bit of pattern from another old strapy top that’s too small. I wanted to use the patterned material to cover up the original logo of the t-shirt, so I positioned it over the shoulder and appliqued it into place. The shape was inspired by the Port Elizabeth top and I used the pattern to cut out the new layout of the t-shirt.

Blogged at the painted ship

Material Notes

Two old jersey cotton t-shirts
