When I found an awesome shirred fabric to make this sundress I pictured two pieces rather than just one – and when I cut the bottom off I found I had an impressed 62 inches to work with for the skirt. I’ve never actually made a simple gathered skirt, so I did this! I used some simple white cotton for the waist band, made a button closure because I’m tired of buying zippers.
$9.60 for the skirt and dress combined, I think I did well :-)
And I think I’m officially caught up on my 52 Weeks of Sewing project!
