This dress was made from a cotton drill with a little bit of stretch. It has a slightly gathered flared skirt with an asymmetrical “joey pouch” sewn in the front. The pocket is super deep – and you can fit key, purse etc; without it looking strange. I made the pattern myself using the bodice of an 80’s pattern I found in an opshop and changing it a little. I made up the skirt shape and the pocket :)
I used decorative stitching along the hemlines.
Cotton drill - 95% cotton 5% elastane
