Twisted tank - version 2

I made a second version of the twisted tank, this time cutting a 34 and grading out to a 38 at the hips.
I made this version out of shiny, white, hallowe’en satin that I had purchased super cheap for experimenting, but which actually turned out looking so pretty in real life that I wore it to a wedding right away. I bound the outer layer with store bought bias binding and hemmed the inner layer. I eliminated the front seam, which cut down on sewing time and “seamed” to look nicer too… haha. I also adjusted for straight shoulders instead of using a dart on the back of the neck and it worked great.
The satin was difficult to work with for the first time due to the fray and next time I would just bind all of the edges. If anybody has any alternative methods of finishing seams that they have had success with, I would love to hear about them.
I love this pattern and definitely plan on making more versions.
