Based on Burda’s 08/2010/135 From the mag: “This close-fitting pink silk skirt with a most unusual wrapped detail will certainly attract lots of attention” Sure it does!
I had a mere 60cm from this silver chambrayish fabric, just enough to cut this cute skirt. I disregarded all the weird Burda instructions (cut it on fold at the hem? riiiiight), I lined it and finished it with bias tape all over, also inside the hem.
It’s a short and flirty mock wrap skirt, so no risk of showing the good china. In this color and fabric it’s ideal for casual office enviroments. More fotos and tetris-style cutting placement at Irene’s blog
