This backpack pattern is from Butterick’s 5505. I like the way it was “arranged” – very non-traditional and so unique. I made it using left over denim from another project and then added upholstery fabric to add interest. It was fairly easy to make, for the lining I used a light-weight cotton. This was a gift for a girlfriend’s teenage daughter’s birthday. She really enjoyed it!

When the time comes, I’ll ask for your contact #. I’m making a trip to Malaysia this June – to Penang though.
