My co-worker’s birthday is on June 3rd and she always loves the clothes I make, so I decided I will surprise her. She loves purple, but I couldn’t find the matte jersey I wanted in purple, but I found this blackberry / eggplant color – close I guess – at Joann Fabric. I hope it will fit her and she will like it. I used McCall’s pattern M6326 view C. It took me about 2 hours to make it. The only problem was the hem. My machine couldn’t make a clean even stitching, so I had to take out the seam (FUN) and I used Stitch Witchery & I like the result. I don’t have any experience with this product. I’m not sure if it will survive through washes or not. Does anyone have experience with it? Should I top stitch over it or leave it like that?
