This is a completion of a project I started in school. It was my first time working with crepe de chine, which feels so lovely but can be a bit complicated. I am completely in love with the color! The brown panel on the bottom was actually a last minute addition because the dress was way too short! I got the leather for the collar from a pair of pants my cousin cut into shorts! I sewed this directly from the drape, but am kind of sad now that I don’t have a pattern for it because I’d love to make another, (maybe floral print with a denim collar) …it’s so easy and comfy!
