This ballet-inspired dress was kind of an experiment for me. I played around with some new things. I’m trying to make more and more things on my own using my own patterns .Also I’m loving shirring with jersey fabric and that’s what started this project. I really like the fabric I used for the skirt, except I ran out of it. Sooooo this is how it turned out, not exactly what i wanted, but my girls liked it. I made this for one of my daughter, but actually the daughter modeling it is not the one. She is the ballerina though and she really wanted it anyways, they can share. I wanted her to be able to wear it in and out of ballet class.
The littlest sis got a matching ballet skirt.

Oooh it looks fun to do turns in! I like the different materials, and the legwarmers as well. But tell her to get over the box more!
