Description

Here is another version of the McCall’s M5040 pattern. This was my New Year’s dress. I’m not sure that you are able to see it in the photos, but this dress consists of a sheer star fabric over navy satin. The skirt had two additional layers, some sort of metallic silver synthetic fabric and silver metallic netting, to give it some body. The effect was lovely.

    That dress is just stunning! I really wish i had that pattern, I have some fabric stashed away thts begging to made into a dress similar to that!

      Thanks, I really love this pattern. The bodice is boned as well so it stays in place nicely and adds support. Very versatile depending on what fabric you use.
