Description

This is my very first clothing project, the bird fabric was very thin (and see through!) so I lined the whole thing before stitching it together. It’s quite bulky but I’m really happy with it :D

Material Notes

Ikea ‘Cecilia’ 100% cotton
Heavy cotton lining

This is so cute – I have made a bag from this fabric and have loads left over … was thinking of making a skirt with it, you have inspired me now!

Haha! Me too! : D I have been thinking about using it for a skirt or a blouse/jacket-something. I also got the green bird fabric so maybe I will do both! There must be some “cecilia-marie” vibrations running through Europe. Your skirt looks great! And i don’t think it’s too bulky!

This super doopa cute for your first project! Did you use a pattern? Cool material too.
