BurdaStyle 09-2010-101 – Winter coat for DD1. I always make my daughter’s winter dress coats, and she like this pattern – it’s short and the ties are interesting. She chose a green coat, cheery in the dreary greyness of (non) winter weather here in Toronto.
Garment is only partially interfaced (differing from Burda’s instructions) due to the bulk of the fabric. Blogged the hidden button closure here
Harris Tweed, flannel-backed satin lining, silk organza underlining, light-weight horsehair sew-in interfacing
Go far afield in wrap dresses, detailed jackets, and comfy separates for fall.
