Description

danielle in tweed with lining! quite difficult to add lining, but after struggling through the winter holidays, it finally became a wearable (though puckering a bit) piece!

    Hi Baum, the dress looks lovely! I’m about to attempt my first Danielle. Would a cotton voile work on this pattern?

      Thank you! I think the pattern should work with thinner fabrics like voile just fine – maybe the structure will be more fluid and flowing. I look forward to seeing your version!

      Thank you! It is the Danielle pattern from
      Burda- the sleeves were replaced by cap sleeves I drafted)

      thank you! It was also my first time lining something – it was so tough! Took much longer than making the outer part of the dress lol
