Description

I completely messed this dress up. Instead of putting the casing in the front, I put it on the back. Also, I didn’t sew the actual casing strip straight, as it was angled on the front and back. It didn’t help that I cut the elastic too long. I also put some oddly shaped sleeves on it.

Material Notes

blue and brown tweed

That is what sewing and designing is all about: experimenting, learning from your mistakes, and most importantly moving on!
I have made countless blunders throughout my sewing years, thrown away expenisve fabric because I totally botched the job, or because my inspired design was a flop!
    Don’t be discouraged.
