I love this skirt! I have finally perfected the Jenny skirt pattern – this is my third version and it’s an amazing fit. I can make this with less then 1 yard of fabric and this was a remnant piece of wool I got at 50% off. I’m short, so the extra wide waist band makes me look shorter, so I modified the waistband and made it 1/2 the width.

Thank you! I did add a vent. I did cheat a little and did not do the lining with a vent, just a regular slit. Thanks for sharing your blog!

Really nice job and I love the narrower waistband. Much more professional looking. Great job!

Looks great! Great fabric choice.
I love this silhouette, with the pencil skirt and slightly relaxed oxford.Did you add a vent? I used this tutorial (http://www.burdastyle.com/techniques/adding-a-vent-to-the-jenny-skirt-pattern) to add a vent to a different pencil skirt pattern and it worked great. You can see the result here (http://wardrobedysfunction.blogspot.ca/2012/10/lace-skirt.html
