Burda pattern 7799 – This pattern has no lining and I couldn’t figure out the pockets from their weird instructions so I decided to do a welt pocket. using wzrdreams one-piece welt pocket tutorial.
The main fabric I think might be worsted wool, but I bought it from Abakhan fabrics so I have no idea what it is! The back is polyester taffeta.
First time making something ‘tailored’, first time making menswear, first time lining something, first time doing welt pockets!
We went out into town and he wore it, but he decided his scarf didn’t match so I made him a quick silky scarf.
Worsted wool/tweed, taffetta, polyester lining.
