I bought lots of fabric from a fabric market a few months ago without having any projects in mind. Then I saw this Simplicity retro style dress pattern (no. 6968 http://www.simplicity.com/p-5142-misses-dresses.aspx) and decided I want to use some of the tweed I had for a dress, since it’s still quite cold here in The Netherlands.
While I was sewing it, I made some small adjustments because I thought it was coming out a bit too matronly, so I shortened it, got rid of the front pockets and made it like this!
