gorgeous idea, materials and work on this!! Am a complete beginner (just bought my first sewing machine) and wanna make this a piece I can enjoy every day. Have a little problem with the patterns though. In the pdf-file the pictures are too big to fit on the pages, so I have no clue how and where to cut the fabric :( any way you could upload the patterns again? would truly make my day!

      hey!
I don’t see the problem with the pdf for the pattern? I know there are some issues with the tutorial pics, which I can’t seem to solve whatever I do…
But when I download the pattern pdf (for home), there are three pages and one pattern piece on each page. Does that make sense?

I like this hat a lot, looks so nice I’m thinking I’d like to try it one day. I bet your mom will be thrilled :)
