this coat is the most exclusive coat that I ever made!I wanned something like equestrian style but with hunting accent and victorian as well! first I made a drawing few months ago and waited the right pattern to match my design :-) so this is how it turn it out!
its made in tweed with brown velvet detail for colar and arms buttons, its lined with royal silk and red tafetta for arms. for finishing I used brown satin piping. Buttons are made in gold metal.
I used burda pattern 103/12.2012 and for peplum I used burda pattern 113/08.2012, that I adapted to coat.
I worked long time on this coat, almost two weeks but I payed atention to every single detail, never worked so much on a coat :-)
now I start to make a similar one for my baby :-)
bag, hat and scarf are also made by my self.
