I saw this cape pattern in Burda magazine from July ‘11 and wanted to make it, but I finally got around to it last month. Here’s the result. I added lining as I thought it could do with a bit of “hidden” colour.

Very nice! I made the same cape in cashmere but I think it looks fab in tweed… Very Chanel!

Hi! I checked our your version and I’m impressed. Your collar turned out much better than mine. My fabric was fraying like crazy so those little bits of fabric sort of lost their original shape. Yours turned out perfect though! Nice job! Love the mint colour, too.

Hi It’s so cute! I like the back detail – it looks great with jeans. I must admit that I do love capes. They just add that something different to a wardrobe, don’t you think?

Hi! Thank you! :)
I think so, too. I didn’t have a cape before but I agree it’s something different and chic to have in your wardrobe.

I like your interpretation of this model. Very well done. Did you crochet the flowers?

Thank you!
Yes I made the flowers as well, they’re knitted. I’ve learned how to make two things in one project: sewing a cape and knitting flowers.
