same pattern i used for my previous floral pants
(burda magazine 12/2013, mod 106)
instead of front fly zipper i used invisible zip at the back
instead of waistband i finished waistline with bias tape
skipped that back welt pocket
and added black grosgrain ribbon to the sides
(satin ribbon was a bit too shiny for my taste,
i thought about adding velvet one, but then realized i have grosgrain in my stash
so i went for it.. i like that it adds a bit of texture as well)
fabric is some mystery find from remnant basket
it was labeled as cotton
and looks rather strange, right side looks almost like sweatshirt fabric
while back side has the texture of denim
see more pics on my blog mokosha
1m of light gray cotton fabric
black grosgrain ribbon 3cm wide
bias tape for the waist
scraps of cotton fabric for pockets
20cm invisible zip
Flirty dresses, a cropped cami, and glam trousers for modern flappers.
